Autumn Vinaigrette

If you're looking for a versatile, homemade dressing to have in the refrigerator, this is the one! Seasoned with vinegar, garlic, paprika, Dijon, salt, pepper and sugar, this go-to vinaigrette is perfect drizzled over salad greens, grilled veggies or used as a marinade for chicken, pork or beef.

Makes: 1 cup (250 mL)

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup 175 mL Crisco® Canola or Vegetable Oil
  • ¼ cup 50 mL white vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp 15 mL paprika, smoked or regular
  • 1 tsp 5 mL Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp 5 mL salt
  • ¼ tsp 1 mL pepper
  • ¼ tsp 1 mL sugar

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in a jar. Cover and shake until combined.
  2. Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
