Crisco® Crepes

Makes: 10 to 12 crepes

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup 175 mL Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour 
  • 2 tbsp 30 mL icing sugar 
  • 1/4 tsp 1 mL salt
  • 3/4 cup 175 mL milk
  • 2 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp 30 mL Crisco® Vegetable Oil 

Preparation

  1. Combine flour, sugar and salt in medium mixing bowl. Add milk, eggs and oil, stirring until smooth. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. Lightly grease a 6" (15 cm) nonstick skillet; heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons (30 mL) batter, tilting skillet to make a 6" (15 cm) crepe. Cook over moderate heat for 30 to 60 seconds, or until bottom is light brown. Turn crepe over. Cook for 30 to 45 seconds longer or until bottom is light brown. Cool on wire rack. Lightly grease skillet, as necessary. Repeat with remaining batter.
